Smooth full-grain leather, grained leather - natural full-grain or suede-style calfskin, each leather used for the production of Françoise Fougère leather goods comes from a short European circuit of excellence (France and Italy) which has undergone successive inspections in the tannery of origin, then in the manufacturing workshop, reflecting our quality criteria.

Leather certification

We only use European and LWG-certified leathers because it is the only way to offer you quality and durable products that respect the environment and workers.

Leathers from this supply chain, certified by the Leather Working Group (LWG), are produced using responsible practices throughout the entire manufacturing process. This certification guarantees both responsible water and energy management, rigorous waste treatment, and regulated production conditions that respect workers. This certification contributes to the fight against deforestation and promotes the development of a supply chain that respects the environment and raw material resources.

At Françoise Fougère, all our models are limited edition by choice and out of respect for production time, handcrafted following Tuscan artisanal techniques, while using very high quality leathers.
